Exeter gateway changes its eQSO conference and has a new plan for the future. See article.
The exteter gateway will now be running in its own conferece room on eQSO called EXETERNET. This will mean it is possible to connect to Exeter via a PC client without going through all the gateways in 101ENGLISH. This allows us to stimulate more varied conversations on eQSO and run a regular net which is something we are planning for the summer.
The gateway at Calne, Wiltshire will also be tied to the conference and G7FEK is considering this to be a combined Echloink / eQSO port thus allowing Echolink users to join in. This also raises the possiblility of extending the range of GB3SW via the gateway link at other times.
Mike, G7FEK is also looking at providing our own DTMF option for eQSO so that it will be possihble to change conference and control the crosslink remotely.
For details contact Mike, G7FEK via this site.
